Spiro’s continues to please after three lunch visits. I specially like their salads, which are fresh, inexpensive and varied. Comes with grilled and SW-spiced chicken for $2 more. They make Mexican passably, good omelets (usually these coffee shop places tend to overcook, not Spiro’s) and many kinds of burgers. The pizza’s decent, the crushed red pepper I put on top was kind of…stale? A little chewy or something. Nice crust. This place is a favorite of local construction works, especially the guys doing the high school on the next block.

All the staff is friendly - the pizza guy gave me a menu when the waitress was busy and everyone helps out. Maria is the fast, efficient waitress who remembers her regulars and is a nice person.

About Spiro’s Cafe I just will say that in these types of cafe now are booming not only through out their vast diversified product categories, but also through different means like~ friendly staffs, well decorative sitting place etc.

The cheap price makes it more appealing not to forget the tasty crunch that will surely make the customers comeback for more.

I discovered this place today, looking for a place to start our tour of Industry City. I can't think of a better place to represent this part of Sunset Park. The Italian/Mexican combination is so indicative of the ethnic shift, and the staff is really nice. and the view from out front--into Greenwood---is a fascinating welcome to the area. Check it out!

This place is great. I'm a regular and have eaten here everyday for lunch for almost 6 months. The pizza is awesome, the mexican food is great. The staff very friendly and helpful. Sit down or take out. A very cheap delicious option for lunch. CHeck it out.
