Hero Champ is relatively heroic.
Hero Champ, the deli on the corner of 3rd Ave and 36th Street in Sunset Park, does a thriving business and is very popular - which is probably why their prices are higher than you would expect - my chicken salad sandwich was $4.25 and with lettuce and tomato was $4.75.
$.50 for lettuce and tomato is kind of wacky.
But did my sandwich deliver? It was, I must say, delicious.
